![]() War Games Computer Voice Movie Voice YouAfter I made my post I watched this Youtube video that has most or all of the scenes with the computer voice and it sounds to me a little too fluid and with a bit of an English accent to be the speech chip. More info here:Scat-Talker MU - Model 1420 - Synthetic Sound LabsI was thinking about that from the beginning.If you listen carefully to the movie voice you will notice the frictives (t's, s's) are of human quality and are very well articulated.On the other hand, this chip uses (pink?) noise to produce frictives which sound pretty smeared out.
